The Ingalls PowerStick pitch
mount takes the dog bone one step further. It's got a spherical bearing
at one end, and a stiff polyurethane bushing at the other. In between
it's solid steel. The PowerStick is designed to reduce engine/tranny
deflection under hard acceleration and cornering loads, reducing weight
transfer, improving horsepower to the wheels (power not used in pushing
the motor around can be used to push the wheels!), and improving
control.
